Rustic Garlic Rosemary Skillet Bread

Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/4 cups warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil (plus more for greasing)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Sea salt flakes (for garnish)

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a cast-iron skillet generously with olive oil.
Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a ball. Place the dough in the skillet and press it to fill the bottom evenly.
Use your fingers to create dimples on the surface of the dough. Brush the top with olive oil, then sprinkle with minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and sea salt flakes.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Let the bread cool slightly before slicing and serving.
